These traditional Iraqi Cookies are called B'ab b'tamer and are filled with pitted Medjoul Dates. The dough is mixed with freshly Ground Fennel and on top of the cookie we've sprinkled some Sesame Seeds!
On the Jewish holiday Purim, we eat these cookies to remember the sweetness of life. Not everyday is going to be a great day or even a good day, but we hope that these cookies not only bring good memories back to life, but remind you as well that life can be sweet and beauitful when we begin to appreciate what we have.
